Years of experimentation and experience have gone into the selection of plants especially suited to the varied habitats of our region.

The shade nursery displays a variety of trees, shrubs and perennials for part to full shade gardening situations and for shady ponds and waterfall areas. Dogwood, redbud, rhododendron, pieris, clethra, azaleas, itce, hostas, ferns, hellabore, solomon's seal and phlox are some just to name a few of the many plants offered. We also offer a special line of native herbaceous perenials from Jennie Branch Nursery for rich woodland settings.	Some species are native while others are chosen to compliment our native plants or as stand alone introductions from other similar woodland areas of the world such as Japan and China

A wide selection of perennials for butterflies and hummers is also offered from asters to sedums plus many more perennials that add to the landscape of you pond and or waterfall.	Sun Nursery offers a very special selection of plants for the sunny areas of your property. Select shrubs and perennials which thrive in part to full sun with many having the added benefit of attracting wildlife such as butterflies, hummingbirds and songbirds. Buddleia (butterfly bush) selections go beyond the purple and pink colors, with many tested varieties and more color choices such as yellow, deep purple, light blue and white.
